2018 Dale Parker Memorial Tournament

2018 Dale Parker Memorial Tournament Report

In what was a busy scouting weekend, the 2018 Dale Parker Memorial Tournament in Brantford featured an 11-team field and offered a great chance for squads who hadn’t yet enjoyed much in the way of tournament success to do just that, while at the same time allowing for more exposure for talented players to shine through. In the end, the host Brantford 99ers claimed the championship by defeating the North York Rangers in the Final. The 99ers were led by the likes of potential first-round pick Maddox Callens, two Top 50 players from our Initial Rankings in Steven LaForme and Landon McCallum, and defenseman Cole Hipkin who could also work his way into our Top 50 before it is all said and done.

SCTA scouts Ryan Stacey and Matt Stewart were on hand to take in the action with Stacey providing his thoughts for the following report which includes selection for Top 10 Performers, comments on 50 total players, and more honourable mentions.
