SUBSCRIBERS: Battle of the Border Report

Marlies Compuware PKSarnia played host to the 2016 Battle of the Border, an OHL showcase event that pitted six of the top 16U programs from the HPHL against six of Ontario’s minor midget programs. As teams took the ice at the Progressive Auto Sales Arena and scouts flocked to the stands to take in the top players, it was evident that the weekend would be jammed packed with entertaining hockey. The event was highlighted by seminars and information sessions on what to expect if the Ontario Hockey League becomes their hockey path of choice and teams were invited to take in the Sarnia Sting and Kingston Frontenacs game on Saturday evening.

Our team had eyes on the action as Brendan Ross (Director of Scouting), Matt Grainda (USA Regional Scout) and Andrew Sykes (Alliance Regional Scout) filed views of the action.
