A third-round pick in the 2009 OHL Draft, Trojanovic spent most of last season playing Tier II in Oakville. "I feel like I have more experience," the 17-year-old Trojan-ovic said. At the club's recent development camp, Spitfires head coa-ch Bob Jones noticed a maturity in his game. "I thought he was very impressive," Jones said. "I think there's confidence now that he can go out and play." That part of the game was missing a year when Trojan-ovic came to camp looking for a spot. With Ryan Ellis, Cam Fowler, Jesse Blacker, Harry Young and Mark Cundari already in the fold, there was room for just one rookie on the blue-line. That spot went to fourth-round pick Craig Duininck. "It's obviously disappointing when you don't make (the roster), but I got to go back to Oakville and play," said Trojanovic, who had two goals and 13 points in 27 games with Oakville. He did get up for 10 games to fill in with the Spitfires last season, but things are a little more clouded for the Spitfires this season.
